Eleanor Roosevelt designed the railroad homes of this era. This
one was built for Jim Hill when he was building the RR through MT.
Kid Curry robbed the train only 10 miles from the Bed & Breakfast
location. The original home was moved to its current site which
had a dairy in the hip roofed barn.
Highway 204 was a stage road during the early years of gold mining
that took place in Zortman, Montana. To this day, all mail to
Zortman still uses this route.
The Stage Road Inn building was constructed in the early 1900's.
Renovation and a new addition to the Bed & Breakfast were
completed during the early to mid 1990's.
